Here is a feature that every computer case should have and that is replaceable
drive EMI shields, to give you and example of how much difference these
make, I have my Amateur Radio Station setup not to far from my
computers and I use one of my computers to end and
receive Slow Scan Television Pictures. I have found that computers
that have solid bay covers are not near as prone to interfere with my radio
ads those that don't. The best cases I have found as far as shielding
and reducing EMI interference are Thermaltake and Coolermaster.
Here is a close-up of the stealth drive covers on the 5.25 drive bays, this is very nice feature as it helps keep the clutter down on the front of the case. To use this stealth covers with your CD drive or DVD optical drive is very simple, you simply press on the button on the front of each drive and the door will drop down and the tray from your your CD or DVD will come popping out, pretty slick huh?
Here you can see the interior of the BachVx, it is actually a pretty open design and provides enough room to install a full ATX motherboard without to much trouble. There is a cross-bar support that run across the area directly in-line with lower part of the power supply once it has been installed. This bar can be removed to make installing the power supply somewhat easier. It is advisable to install the power supply prior to installing the motherboard due to the limited space you may encounter if you are using an over-sized heatsink.
Next we have the hidden 3.5" drive bay rack which is held in place by a single thumb-screw and push-down tab located at the top of the drive cage. Once the thumb-screw has been removed the drive cage can be slide straight out of it channel to allow you to install the hard drive far easier. Also of note is the anti-vibration washers used on each drive bay on the rack, of which there are a total of five.
Here you can see the drive bay rack completely removed from the case which gives us a perfect view of the Thermaltake 140mm fan located at the front of the case. This fan will do a tremendous job of keeping our SATA II 7,200 RPM hard drives cool.
As I mentioned the side-panel has two latches located on it, these latches are lockable thereby making it harder for someone to gain entry into your computer to perhaps purloin your shiny goodies.
