Thermaltake took the artistic route when the photographed the BachVx for the front of the shipping carton; by tilting the case back at a 45-degree angle you can get a better look at the clean features on the front of the case.  You will notice directly below the name of the case are the words "The Charm of the Ordinary", these words may be the perfect description of this case. Even though the case is beautiful to look at with its piano black paint finish,  there is nothing ground shaking about the front of the case, which in my book is fine due to the fact that most of the time simple is better.

Going to the rear of the carton is where you'll want to be if you're looking for the technical information and the pictures to go along with it.  Thermaltake has done a fantastic job of breaking the entire case down so that you can see how every single piece fits together and thereby helping you better understand the product you are about to purchase.

In examining one of the end panels of the carton we found the specifications for the VF4000BNS and the VF4000BWS which is the one we are reviewing. The only difference between the two is the BNS model does not have a window mounted in its side-panel.

Score a perfect 10 for Thermaltake in the packaging department, not only was the BachVx protected from bumps and dents with 2 ridged pieces of Styrofoam, but the case itself was also covered with a woven membrane of some sort that acted as an insulator between the case and the Styrofoam.  Needless to say when the BachVx was unwrapped it was in pristine condition.

When I was first able to get a good look at the BachVx I shocked by how nice it looked, the picture on the shipping carton does not do the case justice.  With its over-sized window cut out like the shape of the Thermaltake emblem.  It will provide a perfect place to look at the hardware you have installed inside.  Removal of the windowed side-panel is very simple since it is held in place with two over-sized thumb-screws.  Once these are removed it is a simple matter of sliding the side latches to remove the panel.

As I mentioned the side-panel has two latches located on it, these latches are lockable thereby making it harder for someone to gain entry into your computer to perhaps purloin your shiny goodies. Also worth mentioning is the 80mm opening directly above where the heatsink attaches to the motherboard.
