A Closer Look
The Zalman ZM-DS4F Dual Stereo Headphones are a combination of plastic and cloth, The cloth is used to cover the foam on each of the earphone pads. The headphones are relatively light weight and did not seem to bother me during a couple of three game sessions whereas some headphones get tossed by the wayside after about one hour of playing time.

Here you have closer look of the material that makes up the earphone pads and cushion, each of also has a piece of foam that keeps from coming in direct contact with the speakers. The headphones do not fit so tight as to be sound deadening yet you can accomplish some sound deadening if you crank the volume up but watch out for your hearing loss.

From this angle you can see that the padding on the headphone measures approximately. One of the things worth mentioning is the fact that they opted to use two set of wire instead of one. The common way this is done is to employee a single wire that hooks up to to both headphones thus preventing the wires from tangling up and around your neck.

From this angle you can see the Zalman headphone fold up into a very small size so they can be easily stored in small carrying case for use on an airplane or just to keep them safe during times they are not in use. You can also wee the hinge located at the mid-point of the headband portion of the headphone and another hinge located at the connection point of the head phones. The headphones are rated at 32 ohms so they phones will be easy to drive with that low of impedance. To connect the headphone to you Computer, MP3 player or video game you can use the 3.5mm right-angle plug that is attached to the end of the headphone cables.
