Inside View
The fan used in Seasonic M12II the ADDA Corporation Model AD1212MB-A17GL this fan is rated at .33 amps and 3.96 watts. CFM of this fan is rated at 80.5 @ 2020 rpm. During our testing this fan was exceptionally quite and that is to be expected of ball bearing fan.
Looking inside the Seasonic S12II you can see that they have put in place a total of 3-heatsink. We are used to seeing two in most of the power supplies we reviewed, but we have noticed in the past that Seasonic take things a little bit further to insure their products will last longer than the competitions.
Looking at the S12II from the top-down you can see that if you were in the modding mod you would have enough room to install an 80mm fan at the rear of the power supply with a bit of wire movement.
