A Closer Look
The Seasonic S12II comes packaged in secure covering of bubble-wrap which should keep the unit in fine shape since there is not much damage that can be done to a power supply short of denting it and perhaps some over-zealous forklift driver running over it at the delivery terminal.

Included as accessories are a dual-floppy pigtail that plugs in a standard Molex connector. If you like to adore your case with a case badge telling everyone what type of power supply you are using, Seasonic has included one with the power supply. Also include are four mounting screws that will keep you from having to search in that baby food jar of screws you have in your drawer.

Looking at the rear of the S12II power supply you can see that the unit does not have fan mounted to help remove any work air that might be created inside the power supply. Instead Seasonic employ what is called "Ultra Ventilation", this is a series of honeycomb shaped opening that allow the air to escape unimpeded and thereby providing the best possible ventilation with the least amount of noise. Also present is a male power connector receptacle and the standard On/Off power switch. You can see the voltage range on this supply is 100-240VAC which means this power supply can be ran in almost any country in the world.

Looking at the placard on the side of the power supply you can see that the S12II has a pair of 12-volt rails with each of them producing 17 amps of current, whereas the +3.3 volt and +5 volt rails will produce 24 amps of current respectably.

Looking at the S12II from a perspective angle you can see the 120mm ball-bearing fan that is soft-mounted to the bottom of the unit. This insures that the fan makes hardly any noise even during periods when the power supply is at maximum load.

We won't bother unwrapping all of the cable to just so you can see what they look like since we assume you have seen power supply cables in the past. We have included a picture showing the number of connector and the types of connectors you will find on the Seasonic S12II. With 6-SATA connectors and 9-Molex connectors there should be enough connector for any situation.
