On the side of the Real Power Pro 1000 is the placard that we
all love to read and brag about to our friends saying that ours is bigger than
yours... watts of power that is. You will also notice that if you add up
all of the numbers the power supply is actually larger than 1000-watts.
This can be explained very easily since the 1000-watt rating is for constant
output and not total power. The actual output for the this supply is
1231-watts.
Looking at the end of the Real Power Pro you will immediately
notice one thing and that is that the power supply has no On/Off switch.
The rear of the power supply is a series of opening in the standard honey-comb
design that will allow the the greatest amount of air to push through the power
supply with the aid of the 135mm 12-blade ultra-silent fan is
which is a model DFS132512H made by Young Lin Tech.
Looking inside the Real Power Pro you can see that the two
largest items in the unit are the heatsinks, and that is just what you need when
you have a unit that is able to put out 1-Kilowatt
