Packaging

The B-Gear B-Tarantula comes packaged in a very nicely done shipping carton, the front of the shipping carton has a perspective view of the B-Tarantula with the picture of a very large Tarantula place squarely on the exhaust fan of the unit.  I can assure you arachnophobiacs that the power supply comes without a furry spider.

Also located on the front of the carton is a listing of the features for this unit.  They include things such as 135mm Xtreme Silent fan with auto speed controller, Smartflex cable management, energy saving green technology the others I'm sure you read when you looked at the features of the B-Tarantula.

If the size, color and length of the cables on your power supply are a major concern then you need to head immediately to the rear of the shipping carton because that is exactly the information that you are going to find there.  This is also where you will first see the modular pig-tails that are used to attach the power cables rather than plug them directly in to a plug-in mounted on the power supply.

The end-panel of the carton displays all the information that you will need to see how much power this power is capable of putting out.  This supply uses a pair of 12-volt rails, each of which is capable of handling 20-amps each.  Looking at the +3.3V and the +5-volt rails you will see that each of them is responsible for up to 28-amps of current. 

Looking at the contents of the power supply you can see that it includes the power supply itself, the detached modular cables and the instruction manual with warranty and four mounting screws.
