You might wonder why the TMG IA 1's fins are cut with such a odd angle to them, part of the reason is that there is more area on the edge of each fin and thus it will cool better this way.
Looking at the device from the side and you can see there is not a great deal to see one either side .
Looking down at the top of the TMG IA 1 you have the only piece of colorful art work on the entire heatsink, so rather than looking fancy with all of the unnecessary frills Thermaltake is letting the aluminum speak for itself. The other thing visible from the top is the tips of the heatpipes which pass through the fins before they are joined with base on the bottom of the heatsink.
Here you can see where the two separate pieces of the base have been separated and the heatpipes pass between they prior to reversing their course and heading back up through the fins.
