Introduction

Power supplies are becoming the mainstay of the modern computer thanks to the high demands put on them by such things as blazing fast processors, double the amount of memory we are used to running in our systems, video cards like we have never seen before and hard drives that have gone from large to gigantic.

This does not take into consideration such things as motherboards running dual video cards in some form of SLI configuration either.  With the increase in current output of these high-end power supplies the one other change we have seen is the switch from standard permanently attached cables to the use of modular cables thus allowing you to use only the cables you need for your specific system.

Today we are looking at Sunbean Tech's new SLI 550 watt Nuuo modular power supply, having reviewed the Nuuo when it was first released we will be looking to see if it carrys on the same tight rail voltages we saw in the first version we tested.
